FSU Libraries Photogrammetry Institute

The Photogrammetry Institute at FSU Libraries is a recurring monthly meeting that brings together researchers, professionals, and enthusiasts dedicated to advancing the use of photogrammetry and 3D modeling techniques in research and scholarly applications. This collaborative forum aims to foster knowledge sharing, problem-solving, and the development of best practices for capturing, documenting, sharing, and preserving 3D and interactive scholarly outputs.

Each working group session will feature presentations of ongoing research, use-case studies, and updates on institutional infrastructure, followed by interactive discussions that explore challenges and innovative solutions in the field. The group also serves as a launchpad for interdisciplinary collaboration, bridging gaps between content and method experts.

Whether you are working on a specific project, exploring new methodologies, or seeking to learn from the experiences of others, this working group provides a valuable platform for continuous learning and professional development. Participants are encouraged to contribute their insights and engage in collaborative efforts that push the boundaries of what is possible in cultural heritage preservation through digital means.
